vs.
(feel free to click the primitive drawings if, unlike me, you have a computer that's less than 4 years old)
Maybe it really is time for cockroaches to get a rebranding. Maybe it's time we stood up for flies. Cause if we want rid of them we have to side with spiders and ...shudder... centipedes.*
I really, really, really hate house centipedes.
But a friend of mine on facebook just posted a picture of one, hated on it, and then said "i know they're 'good' cause they eat other pests..." and I'm like "PESTS? WHAT COULD BE WORSE THAN CENTIPEDES?" But I realized I hadn't really done the research. I didn't know these things eat cockroaches, bedbugs (BEDBUGS : THE NEW KILLER BEES. is there a tv special about them yet?), spiders... I'm actually okay with spiders. Spiders and I are cool, within reason. Spiders have never woken me up by running down my back at 5 in the morning. A centipede did. I don't know if I can forgive and forget.
But I have to admit, compared to cockroaches, centipedes are just more discreet, somehow.
And flies are always going to be my enemies cause they keep trying to make purchases on the company touchscreen PC.
*I don't know how that weedy little guy is really going to take on a cockroach, but apparently they do. I've never seen a spider do a single lick of work, either.
